Ardgarth Guest House
Ardgarth Guest House is a warm and comfortable family run Guest House, which is definitely 'all ages' friendly! The house has been tastefully adapted from a large Victorian family house with a variety of well proportioned rooms to suit family groups of up to five, or the independent single traveler.


Portobello is a seaside suburb to Edinburgh just 3.5 miles to the East of Princes Street in the City centre.

We are situated in a wide and quiet street, and it is a short walk to the beach and promenade that are the envy of Edinburgh.

Looking down the street there is a clear view of the outer reaches of the Firth of Forth (as in the photo below) and the Kingdom of Fife is easily visible on a clear day.



The Scottish Tourist Board have graded the accommodation as a Three Star Guest House. We have accessible rooms on the ground floor and were "runner-up" in the 1997 Thistle Awards in the Category "Tourism For All"

Also in 1997 Scottish Enterprise awarded a Certificate for providing "Scotland's Best Service to each Visitor".
