Melville Guest House
Melville Guest House is one of a dozen Victorian houses, known locally as The Twelve Apostles, facing Duddingston Park. As you approach along the A1 you will have a spectacular view of Arthur's Seat, a magnificent extinct volcano rising up from Edinburgh city. Leave your car on site or in nearby quiet avenues and take a few minutes' bus journey into the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland's beautiful capital city.

Walk across the road and play golf at the public nine-hole course; drive less than ten minutes and enjoy the Queen's Park, Holyrood Palace and The Royal Mile; drive or bus to Portobello and enjoy the Promenade or to Leith Waterfront where the Royal Yacht Britannia has made her home.

We are close to the city by-pass and on the A1, which means that we have easy access to and from the Scottish Borders, the North, the East and the West.

Melville Guest House is an entirely non-smoking establishment and all our rooms are regularly refurbished, offering comfortable, attractive accommodation, including modern facilities on the ground floor for disabled guests. We also offer evening meals from Sunday to Friday.
